Stroll through Grafton Street

Already many singers have become famous through Grafton Street, the most famous street of Dublin, and even Ed Sheeran sings about it in his new song Galway Girl. Next to being a shopping paradise, many street performers find their ways here and show off their skills and songs to the people strolling through the streets. The atmosphere is promising and most of the artists are quite good actually. Go and find out for yourself.

Hit the pubs

Of course, the pubs are a must-go-to when in Dublin and not only for the beer but also for the music. Going for a drink in Ireland is much more fun than anywhere else because the music is good, the people are dancing and the pints are better. Temple Bar is a very popular area and well known for the live performances. Old Storehouse, Auld Dubliner, Norsemen, Porterhouse and many more hire artists each day to entertain their guests and it works.

Festivals

Festivals are less frequent in Dublin than anywhere else and that’s mainly because of the weather conditions. However, from spring through summer, there are several events you eventually like to participate in. Longitude festival in Marlay Park, Dublin dance festival in many venues through Dublin city or Beatyard festival in Dun Laoghaire on August 5th and 6th (reachable in 20 minutes by Dart). Stars such as the Weeknd and Mark Ronson will be performing but Irish local artists are always present too. Don’t you worry.
