I love this hotel! It has a great staff and wonderful customer service. I advise for all hotel guests to eat breakfast in the hotel restaurant. It's awesome!

This has been my first time staying at your hotel. I was using a Pigsback voucher purchased recently. The hotel is comfortable, clean and very accessible. I found the staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast offered an excellent and tasty choice of food to set me up for the day. I will be happy to recommend it and stay again. If there is anything to improve on I would suggest a thermostatic control for the radiator in the room as it was too warm for me.

We arrived after midnight after missing our connecter flight and were greeted with a warm welcome and a clean and very comfortable room and bed. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff was friendly

Beautiful old hotel with helpful, gracious staff. Delightful experience to be there, and the food selection was generous and beyond delicious. The location was excellent; near the hop on hop off busses and shopping areas. I would be happy to return.

Would stay here again; was good in every aspect and walking distance to many attractions. A few minor details; the bathrooms were very dark and to climb into the shower tub was uncomfortably high. Towels were scratchy. Front desk folks were helpful and knowledgeable about the city. Nice LARGE room was a nice fit after our tiny room in London!

Have stayed here many times now - a favorite place in a favorite city. The staff are competent and helpful; the hotel itself is charming with its old but well maintained and sturdy dark woods and brass fixtures. Very nice breakfast buffet - and usually quiet and relaxing, especially if you get there early. Great pubs in the neighborhood, and a convenient walk to Trinity College and other attractions.

Lovely hotel, with comfortable bed and nice decor. The room looked onto the road and the curtains did not cut out the light, and there was a bright street light or something right by the window. And there is a serious lack of power points to charge my phone and laptop. Breakfast was lavish. Very well positioned in town right by Trinity College Dublin

Excellent location, very good staff (not smiling or acknowledging the customer is normal in Ireland? I don't know, but this was my experience in this hotel anyways), excellent room and condition of the room. Easy access from Airport, take Airlink 457 (10 Euro return), stops right in front of it. Breakfast was great if you are a meat eater, but why not have a non-meat, non-dairy option? All it takes is a jug of soy milk and a few packets of oatmeal. I asked the staff if there is any non-dairy milk available and there was non on both days i stayed. On a minor note, perhaps major for some people, anyone can walk in and go to the elevator and access the floors without being noticed or questioned from the front desk staff who are not always paying attention to the door or maybe busy. Add to this that the hotel room doors don't have a security lock from inside and you could have a potentially serious concern.

We had a really good experience with the hotel and thought the location was really great, walking distance to all of the main sights in Dublin. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The proximity to the stop for the Airlink bus to the airport was super convenient. The room and bathroom were nice and perfect for 2 people. My one complaint is that the room was very dark even with all of the lights turned on. The other weird thing is that the hairdryer was attached to the drawer of the desk so that you could not move it to use it anywhere else in the room. Overall a good stay.

I stayed for one night with you, check in was fine. I was cold going to the room and when I opened the door, the room was very cold. The cold air con was on full blast. I tried to turn it to heat, but it would only work on cold, I also tried to turn on the radiator, but didn't manage it. So I had a nice shower, there was plenty of hot water(I was surprised there was no shower cap). Wifi was tempremental I found. The room was fine, nothing outstanding for the price. Breakfast was disappointing, the staff were lovely, but the hot food was only lukewarm. This is a pet hate of mine, I want my hot food, hot! Overall, I wouldn't stay with you again, as I felt for the price, it didn't live up to my expectations.

Very well located. A quiet area but near to everything. 15 minutes from epic and 20 minutes from Temple Bar. Good breakfast. Small rooms, a bit dated but very clean. Great shower. Staff are helpful.

Friendly helpful staff. Great location. Very helpful in helping me retrieve an essential item I had left behind after checking out. Receptionist took time to give us directions when we were heading out to a particular location. Easy buses to/from Heuston and the airport. Shower temperature was difficult to regulate - only complaint

Nice staff. Good location. Clean rooms though small and outdated. The shower went from scalding hot to freezing cold and back again. Needs a lot of updating

This was a very quaint hotel that was located near Trinity College and the heart of Dublin. The room was fairly small and the bathroom was also smallish but I take it into consideration that this is an older building. The location cannot be beat with the airport shuttle directly across the street. Very convenient. The restaurant was closed for renovations I think but they still served a very nice breakfast. It was nice and was well stocked. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were kind enough to provide a tea pot when we were just wanted hot water for tea (instead of coffee). The Davenport O'Callaghan is situated directly across the street and appears to be slightly bigger and maybe just a bit higher end. That being said, we were comfortable and felt safe. I would return again! Thanks for Tourism Ireland for helping me find this hotel after the TBEX Conference in October.

Generally the staff were good especially the lady at Reception. But we found the breakfast a disaster! Very few options at the buffet. Cold plates No offer of a fresh hot breakfast - just hopeless scrambled egg at the buffet which looked as if it had been there for 24 hours. Not what one expects in a Dublin where great Irish breakfasts are always served No bacon Burnt sausages Cheap fruit juice and only orange. No toasting facility General apathetic staff No fried, poached eggs offered fresh from the kitchen offered by staff Poor options of cereals The bedrooms looked very tired and the bed linen needs to be re- renewed The TV was ancient and only 4 channels offered - and not good channels. Felt like the seventies! Hope this helps to upgrade your services Will not book there ever again!! Regards Alan Watt

The room we stayed in aren't spacious. We had trouble getting our large piece of luggage into the room. It had strange moldy smell when we walked in and the bathroom smelled funky as well. Leaving the window open seemed to help with the smell. My fiance is 6 ft 1 and he had trouble using the shower as the tub was also quite small. It's an inexpensive place to stay a night but don't expect anything more than a bed and a washroom.

Cold room even when we turned on heat. Door keys not working when we came back at night and had to go up and down 2 times before they sorted it. Temperature regulation on shower non-existent. Morning staff good rest not so much

The furniture is very old. It was so cold in the room and the restaurant. After asking several times for invoice and providing company details I got a wrong one upon check-out. They did not want to give it earlier.

Car park was miles away in a not great area of town. No food available at the hotel. No bar available at the hotel. Had to run across busy road to sister hotel for a sandwich. Was only informed of the lack of facilities on arrival. Really not a happy camper. There was a lack of communication all around and absolutely no offers to rectify the lack of service.
