Dublin Racing Festival
Dublin Racing festival is the new addition to the Irish festival calendar. It will be a weekend of celebration of jumps racing, music and culture. Two music headliners have been announced, Damien Dempsey and Stockton’s Wing. The festival takes place on Saturday 3rd and 4th of February at Leopardstown.
Dublin Chinese New Year Festival 2018
Dublin Chines New Year festival returns from the 16th of February to the 4th of March. The celebration of the year of the dog will take over the city with tones of events hosted by Dublin’s best venues. Traditional and contemporary Chines cultural activities are to be expected including Chines opera, singing and karaoke competition, dragon parades, culinary delights and many more… Have a look at the program here.
Good Morning Mr Turner
Visit the annual Turner watercolours exhibition at the National Gallery of Ireland from the 1st of January to the 31st. This year the exhibition will be complemented by etching and drawings by Kerry-based master printmaker Niall Naessens. On the 15th, the National Gallery of Ireland will host an exquisite evening of masterpieces, music and food to celebrate the return of this exhibition. Audi Dublin International Film Festival
Ireland’s biggest celebration of Irish and international feature film will take place in Dublin from the 22nd of February to the 4th of March. The festival gives access to a plethora of international filmmaking talent including actors, writers and directors. It must be seen to be believed…The Cirque Berserk celebrate the 250th anniversary of the invention of the travelling circus in a jaw-dropping show created especially for the theatre. Jugglers, acrobats, drummers and even motorcyclist are to be expected! The show will take place from the 22nd of February to the 4th of March at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre.
